Enzo Ciampalini was born in 1951 in Certaldo,
the heart of the province of Florence in Tuscany.
The native town of Boccaccio, one of the fathers
of Italian literature, Certaldo’s landscapes
have inspired famous writers and artists for
centuries. With Lamp International, Ciampalini developed new lines of beds, wrought iron and brass lamps, tables, and other fine home furnishings. In his 20 years of service at Lamp International, Ciampalini enhanced the lighting sector by designing products geared toward his customers’ taste, and crafting products enriched by fine Murano glass. Recent presentations to manufactures at Italian and foreign trade shows (Euroluce in Milan, Licht+Building in Franckfurt, Sil in Paris, and Fiam in Valencia) have met with success – a testament to this artist and the dynamic products he has helped to create. Thanks to the ingenuity of its designers, each Lamp International product features distinct craftsmanship in which metals such as brass, iron, and aluminum are united with precious glass and crystal to form objects of sculptural beauty.
